Rindge collection, 1883-2000 (bulk 1883-1905).

Correspondence, photographs, financial records, architectural drawings, and other materials, chiefly relating to Rindge's endeavors on the East Coast, such as his major donations to the City of Cambridge, Mass., local churches, and his involvement with American University in Washington, D.C. Also includes correspondence letter books, chiefly letters from William I. Parker or Francis J. Parker, Rindge's business managers, detailing local business transactions; pamphlets and annual reports from various local schools and charities; architectural drawings of the library, city hall, Cambridge Manual Training School, and other buildings; copies of his self-published religious or meditative books; and materials regarding Cambridge Manual Training School and its camp which Rindge founded, chiefly letters from Harry Ellis, first superintendent of the school, detailing daily routines and special events.
